How do I make a booking online for a powered site or cabin at the Karoonda Tourist Park?

Making a booking online is an easy process:

Step 1: Visit our Website:

Step 2: Choose Your Dates and Advise Guest Numbers
Select your desired check-in and check-out dates. Then, enter how many guests are staying.

Step 3: Choose Your Accommodation

Then, scroll down and click the button “Book Now” next to the type of accommodation that suits your preferences – whether it's a spacious powered site or cosy cabin.

Step 4: Review Your Booking
Double-check the details of your reservation, including dates, accommodation type, and guest numbers. If everything looks good, proceed to the next step.

Step 5: Select Site From Map (this step is applicable to Powered Site bookings only. If you have booked a Cabin, move to Step 6.)
Click the button that says “Select Site From Map”. A map of the sites will appear and show you which sites numbers are available. Choose the site number you wish to stay on. A pop-up screen will appear, click the button “Confirm Site Selection”.

Step 6: Guest Information and Contact Details
Provide the required information for all guests in your party, including your contact details. This ensures we can reach you with any important updates or information regarding your stay.

Step 7: Payment
Securely enter your payment details to confirm your reservation. Rest assured, our online payment system is safe and reliable.

Step 8: Confirmation Email
Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email containing all the details of your reservation. Keep this email for your records.

12 hours prior to your check-in time at the park you will receive an automatic email that includes a 4-digit code for you to access the key safe on your cabin, or the bathroom facilities for the powered sites - depending on what accommodation type you booked. You will also receive this same code in a text message at 1pm on the day of your arrival.

If you make a booking on the same day as check-in you will receive a text message instantly once your booking is confirmed with the 4 digit code in it. You will also receive a confirmation email with your booking details.


I can't find my code to access the cabin/or powered site bathroom facilities?

What time can I check-in to my powered site or cabin?

Check-in time for all powered sites and cabins is from 2:00pm onwards.

Check-out time for all powered sites and cabins is 10:00am

The Karoonda Tourist Park is located on the Karoonda Highway, in Karoonda. To find us using a GPS, please use the address 11070 Karoonda Highway, Karoonda.


Am I allowed to bring my pet to stay at the Karoonda Tourist Park?

Yes, we are a pet friendly park. Pets are allowed to stay with you on powered sites, however not in or around cabins, exceptions apply to guide dogs.
